Study: Women Reach Their Style Peak at This Age

Erin Fitzpatrick

If you're in your 20s and feel like you're still figuring out your style, you're not alone. As Glamour first pointed out, new research by U.K.-based company More Th>n reveals that women don't hit their style peak until age 30. (For men, it's 36.)

So what does that mean exactly? The company surveyed 2000 men and women and discovered that 30 is the average age a woman feels most "confident in her style sensibilities and [owns] more valuable clothes, shoes, bags, and jewellery" than any other age. The research says that after age 30, women's confidence in their style decreases, and the value of their wardrobe gradually decreases as well.
