Our Editor's April Wish List Is What Dreams Are Made of
Do you dream about shopping when you're trying hard to fall asleep at night? I curate wish lists, then imagine how the pieces will slip into my wardrobe. I dream-up outfits, and where I'll wear them. This type of shopping is my favourite—I'm without distraction and it's when I feel my most creative.
This month, I'm sharing my ultimate April wish list. The pieces I've got my eye on, and (budget permitting) will snap up before the end of the month.
I'm looking for pieces that will give a seasonal trend injection into my wardrobe. I've got the basics sorted (more black pants and jeans than one person will ever need) so I'm going for pieces that are a little more interesting.

The days are starting to get grey, but these sunglasses will brighten everything.
While I love the corset trend, I'm not sure I could last a day wearing it, but this elastacised version feels very wearable.
My wardrobe needs more printed tops to pair with all my jeans. This one will work for weekends, and the office.
UNDER $500
Cooler weather is all about layering. I'll be making my slip dresses look more interesting by layering black mesh underneath.
Rather than always opt for a plain black midi skirt, I'll be playing with texture, print, and volume.
I've been wearing white sneakers for years, and feel like I need an update. Pink is where it's at.
UNDER $1000
The unique crinkled fabric is what makes this top stand out to me, and when you factor in the balloon sleeves, and off-the-shoulder style, there's nothing not to love.
I need to stop buying plain black slides, so the next shoes I buy need to be interesting, and with velvet, bows, and colour. I feel like these fill the brief.
I can already imagine wearing this long silk robe over my black leather pants, and a plain white cami.
