How Victoria Beckham Recycles a Fail-Safe Outfit Combo
It's long been established that Victoria Beckham has perfected the long skirt and button-down shirt combo, but the latest rendition of her favourite fail-safe outfit formula is especially familiar. While visiting the Louvre with her son Brooklyn in Paris, Beckham stepped out in her go-to crisp white oxford paired with a long pleated skirt from her own Spring 2017 collection. The crushed velvet number welcomed spring in a lovely pale rose colourway and the fashion designer paired the romantic look with bright white v-cut pumps and a white leather bag, both from her Spring 2017 collection, and a pair of dark sunglasses.
Though her ensemble looked fresh as ever, we witnessed the almost exact same combination last September, when Beckham was spotted during fashion week in New York. In the original iteration Beckham paired her button-down with the same skirt in a seafoam green colourway with the belt worn at the opposite hip. Her bag was in a complementary shade of mint and instead of a bold heel she went with dark green strappy stilettos.
