Surprise! Taylor Swift and Zayn Released a Song for Fifty Shades Darker

Adrianna Barrionuevo

Last night, Taylor Swift surprised us all with new music for the first time since 2014's 1989 album. The songstress shared the news with an Instagram post that read "Z | T | 50" and followed it up with a snippet of the tune, which features Zayn Malik. The photo is the artwork for the single titled "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," which is on the soundtrack for the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker film, starring her good friend Dakota Johnson.

The movie is pretty connected with Swift's squad of girlfriends if you think about it. Her "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" collaborator is dating BFF Gigi Hadid, and Swift co-wrote the song with Sam Dew and Jack Antonoff, who's dating her good friend Lena Dunham (she also shared her excitement on Instagram). Who knew Fifty Shades and Taylor Swift had so much in common?

Keep scrolling to check out a preview of the song, available on iTunes, and Zayn's funny post with Swift.
