Kohl's Is Opening a New Outlet Stocked Just With Returns

Bobby Schuessler

Macy's announced its expansion into the discount-store realm a few weeks ago. Well, as Racked pointed out from Chain Store Age, Kohl's is the next department store to open an outlet, called Off-Aisle by Kohl's, in Cherry Hills, New Jersey. The shop will stock discounted, like-new merchandise that had been previously returned to Kohl's stores and Kohls.com.

"Off-Aisle by Kohl’s is a single store that will enable Kohl’s to test new ways to provide its customers with the opportunity to purchase merchandise at a highly discounted price," Kohl's corporate public relations manager Julia Fennelly told Chain Store Age.

What do you think? Are you excited about this new venture? Sound off in the comments below. And don't forget to shop current Kohl's merch too. Perhaps Lauren Conrad's LC Lauren Conrad line? Just saying.
