Hollywood collab: You can now officially add denim designer to Jessica Alba's already impressive résumé. As Vogue.com reports, the actress and entrepreneur will create up to 10 pieces for DL1961's F/W 16 collection, which is set to hit stores in August. "The jeans that I'm designing are going to celebrate women's bodies and show off those curves," she told the site. Alba is also already the face of the brand's S/S 16 collection, which you can shop at DL1961.com ahead of her collaboration's launch. [Vogue.com]

Farfetch expands: E-tailer Farfetch announced today that it will be expanding into two new categories: beauty, launching on February 29, and kidswear, debuting on March 1. The expansion makes sense given the site's massive growth—its staff size has doubled in the last year, to 1000 employees in 10 cities globally. While we wait for the exciting launches, be sure to shop Farfetch. [Farfetch]

Headed West: Like Stella McCartney, Tom Ford, and Burberry have all done recently, designer Rachel Comey is turning to California to show her newest collection. She will be skipping New York Fashion Week and instead present the F/W 16 line in Los Angeles in late March, which dovetails with the launch of her first West Coast retail store the following month. Can't wait! In the meantime, shop Rachel Comey pieces. [Business of Fashion]
