7 Ridiculous Things in Gucci's New Campaign

Aemilia Madden

Leave it to Gucci to debut a spring campaign that's not only bursting with drool-worthy clothes and accessories but is creative enough to make you stop and stare. For S/S 17, Gucci transports you to Rome for a whirlwind of '80s-inspired high-saturation photos. The campaign stars not only models but wild animals too—lions, tigers, leopards, and even a giraffe make an appearance.

Styled and directed by the brand's designer, Alessandro Michele, the campaign touches on the eccentric and bizarre, and it celebrates the quirks of Rome and some of its most iconic inhabitants. It's safe to say, this isn't a campaign you'll soon forget. And while the photos themselves are plenty inspiring, don’t forget to keep an eye out for the goodies you’ll see on every street style star in the coming months.

Read on for seven wild moments from Gucci's new campaign, and then to check out the rest in full!
