What We Want These Celebrities to Wear to the Grammy Awards
The 58th Annual Grammy Awards are less than a week away, and we’re so excited we’re taking a look back at what our favourites wore last year—and giving them some outfit inspo for this year's red carpet (they can thank us later). A lot can change in a year (Chrissy Teigen is pregnant, Kim Kardashian recently gave birth to Saint West, and Katy Perry no longer has purple hair), so it’s only right that your style should evolve too.
Keep scrolling to see our what we think these 10 major style stars should wear for the 58th Annual Grammy Awards—all handpicked from the recent Spring 2016 Paris Couture Shows.
WHAT: Chanel Spring Haute Couture 2016
WHY: There are not many people who could make a fanny pack look this cool, but Rihanna is definitely up there. We wouldn't mind seeing this two piece altered a little to show off her midriff—that would be the Rihanna way to wear Chanel couture. Now that her blunt bob is back, we're feeling this look would be a head-to-toe winning combo.
WHAT: Zuhair Murad Spring Haute Couture 2016
WHY: We're yet to see Kim at an official outing after the birth of Saint West, so we know when she finally makes an appearance, it's going to be a planned down to the T. Mrs West loves to wear bold colours on the red carpet, so a pastel shade will make for a real 'comeback moment'.
WHAT: Giambattista Valli Spring Haute Couture 2016
WHY: Beyoncé loves a figure hugging 'naked dress' more than anyone else (and why not, if you look like that), but after countless wins in this style (oh, Met Gala 2015, we’re still thinking about you), it’s feeling too safe. We want to see her step out of her comfort zone and into something she hasn’t really done before.
WHAT: Ralph & Russo Spring Haute Couture 2016
WHY: These days, we don't see Gwen Stefani on the red carpet as much as we used to, so we'd love to see her make a memorable appearance in a showstopping gown. For extra points, we want her to bring back the pink hair, too.
WHAT: Versace Spring Haute Couture 2016
WHY: Rita Ora always makes bold red carpet choices. This look is still bold (thigh split, sheer panels), but feels different to anything we've seen her in before.
