2 Dreamy Festival Outfits You’ll Want to Wear on Repeat

When it comes to festival season, most diehards subscribe to the formula of flower crown plus something neon, multiplied by feverishly frayed denim, plus jewellery to the tenth power. But if you’re game to mix things up this year, then turn your attention to the fashion trends of festivals B.C. (aka Before Coachella). That’s what Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes has done. Pulling inspiration from her favourite music eras of the past, the blogger cues up two easy-to-wear outfits, styled with this season’s must-have pairs of Teva sandals.

Scroll down to see Aldridge's sandal-savvy looks.

“I love the ‘90s vibe and femininity of a nude slip dress, with a cashmere wrap around my waist and dusky Teva Original Sandals for extra ‘90s credit,” says Aldridge.

“I am so happy that spring is here and I can finally wear sandals!”

This minimalist twist on a '90s grunge classic is softened up with a colour palette of nude-pink, steel grey, and dusky lavender.

“I look to 1970s festival photos as a point of inspiration,” says Aldridge. “I've always been a ‘70s lover, and I have the vintage wardrobe to prove it.”

“This vintage leather fringe skirt is a prized possession of mine—it would be perfect with these shoes for a festival look. Plus, I love the hippie vibe of these flatforms!”

How did Aldridge finish off the look? “With a vintage denim jacket, squash blossom necklace, and turquoise bracelets from my grandma,” she says.
